History
1999
Founded by George Dempster, Martin Gill, Chris Joseph, Ray Friedman and Casper Venter as a secure electronic marketplace called MEDMALL.
2000
MEDMALL went live on the 15th February 2000, connecting Healthcare Professionals with pharmaceutical manufacturers, reagent suppliers and service providers for electronic communications, information, marketing, market research, data transportation and educational purposes.
2002
Headquarters were relocated to our current premises at Unit 16, The Northcliff Office Park. The company converted from a sales driven electronic marketplace to a niche software development house. The initial focus centred on providing e-business services (website and bulk e-mail communications) to medical associations.
2006
Company name change from MEDMALL to E2 Solutions
2008
E2 seen as the market leader in the Healthcare space for developing innovative e-business solutions and supporting services. Five key solutions rebranded - My Community, My Contract, My CPD, My Orders, My Rx. E2 purchases fifty percent of Unit 16 - Northcliff Office Park.
2009
E2 awarded the South African Pharmacy Council tender to rewrite the register, embed workflow and convert the website to a working application open to all registered persons.
2010
E2 repositioned as a Community Management Software Specialist with multiple solutions across healthcare, automotive, educational, residential estates and non profit organisations.
Additional staff joined the company enabling E2 to improve our technical capacity and service delivery. Craig Ryall appointed a Director.
Contract signed with the Clicks Retail Group to build a web based training platform.
2011
E2 launch next version MM3 community management software platforms and extend our reach to churches, golf clubs, schools and medical marketplaces.
2012
E2 launches pay as you go CPD for Medical Doctors, Medical Technicians and Psychologists. The system is fully automated allowing individuals to register online, pay by credit card and access accredited CPD articles in line with HPCSA guidelines.
