Dr Martin GillMartin Gill finished a BSc (med) in 1980 where after he went on to study medicine, obtaining an MBCHB in 1984 and qualifying as an ENT surgeon in 1994 where he was awarded the Miller trophy for the best surgeon at Wits that year.
During 1999 while in private practice Martin was looking for a solution to unify doctors to enable them to better deal with, at the time, a fairly hostile medical environment. Martin partnered with George Dempster, Professor Chris Joseph, Dr Ray Friedman and Casper Venter to set up MedMall, which was later renamed E2 Solutions. Martin is the chairman of E2 Solutions and of the Medical Advisory Committee at the Fourways Life Hospital where he is in private practice.
